Marketplace payments that pay the right person, once.
Stripe Connect onboarding, split payouts, refunds tied to your guarantees, and webhooks that never double-charge. We fix the payment path in marketplaces and point-of-sale systems, and we prove it with test-mode charges before it touches a customer.
Free 30-minute call. Written findings in 48 hours that you keep. Then a scoped SOW.
How it starts
Call → 48h payment-path findings → scoped fix
- 1. Free 30-minute call. How money moves today, who gets paid, and what went wrong last month.
- 2. 48-hour findings you keep. The payment path traced from checkout to payout: double-charge risks, refunds that do not reverse transfers, orders stuck pending, and fee math that does not match what you published.
- 3. Scoped fix. Fixed price, or from $2,500/month if you want us on the payment path ongoing.
What we build and fix
Connect onboarding and payouts
Account onboarding, account states that block payouts until onboarding is complete, application fees, and split payouts that match your published fee schedule.
Authorize, then capture
Hold the card when the order is placed, capture when the work is matched or done, void when it is not.
Refunds tied to guarantees
When a promise is missed, the refund and the payout adjustment happen automatically and are logged.
Webhooks that run once
Signature-verified, idempotent handlers, so retries and duplicate events do nothing.
Checkout that cleans up
Unpaid checkout sessions expire and restock inventory. Stripe Tax on the session when you sell taxable goods.
Multi-processor and POS
Square, Stripe, and CardKnox behind one router, processor credentials encrypted per tenant, and an audit trail on every payment and refund.
Proof (client names withheld)
Payment systems we built and run
Multi-tenant CRM with Connect payouts
A Laravel CRM and reputation platform with Stripe Connect payouts, role-based access, and lead routing. We run a business on it every day.
Multi-tenant POS with RFID payments
Real customer money on RFID card balances and limits. Square, Stripe (Connect and Terminal), and CardKnox behind one router. Processor credentials encrypted at rest, audit trail on payments and refunds, no raw card data stored, and tenant scoping hardened so one organization cannot see another's payments.
Delivery marketplace
Being rebuilt from a prototype: the card is authorized before a driver is matched, captured or voided after, and refunded automatically when the delivery-time promise is missed.
Maker marketplace and merch store
Stripe Checkout with signature-verified webhooks, a published platform fee with a public fee ledger, six-hour checkout expiry with automatic restock, Stripe Tax, and browser tests that complete a purchase with a test card.
Questions
Why does my webhook fulfill an order twice?
Stripe can deliver the same event more than once and retries when your endpoint is slow or fails. If the handler is not idempotent, every retry ships, credits, or emails again. We key handlers on the event and the object so a repeat does nothing.
Standard, Express, or Custom Connect accounts?
It depends on who handles onboarding, support, and disputes. Express is the usual start when you want Stripe to host onboarding and payouts. We decide on the call, before any code changes.
Can you handle refunds tied to a guarantee?
Yes. When a promise is missed, the refund, the fee treatment, and the payout adjustment happen automatically and are logged, instead of someone doing it by hand in the dashboard.
Does this make us PCI compliant?
We keep card data off your servers with Stripe and Square tokenization and hosted payment pages, which keeps your PCI scope as small as those processors allow. We do not certify compliance; your assessment does.
We use Square or CardKnox too. Is that a problem?
No. We have run Square, Stripe, and CardKnox behind one payment router in a multi-tenant POS, with processor credentials encrypted per organization.
